Wagner Leal Arienti
Graduate in Economics – Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (1979), Master’s degree in Economics – Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (1983) and Doctoral degree in Government – University Of Essex (1995). He is currently an associate professor at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina.
He has experience in economics, with an emphasis on the capitalist state, working mainly on the following subjects: pedagogy in economics, critical realism, the contributions of Arrighi, Braudel and Wallerstein, teaching economics and Fordism, post-Fordism, regulation theory.
