Roberto Meurer has Postdoctoral Research at FEA/USP (2017) and at UCLA Anderson Management School (2010), Doctoral degree in Production Engineering at UFSC (1999), Master’s degree in Engenharia de Produção at UFSC (1995), Graduate Economics at UFSC (1989).

Professor in the Department of Economics and International Relations since 1996. He was president of ANPEC – Associação Nacional de Centros de Pós-Graduação in Economy in the 2018-2019 biennium. His lines of research are in Finance, Macroeconomics, Monetary Economics and the relationship between these areas.
