Patricia Fonseca Ferreira Arienti

Graduate in Economics at Universidade Candido Mendes (1985), Master’s degree in Latin American Studies – University of London (1989) and Doctoral degree in Economic Development at Universidade Federal do Paraná (2004). She is currently a professor in the Department of Economics and International Relations at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina.

She has experience in Economics, with an emphasis on International Political Economy, working mainly on the following line: international political economy, sovereign wealth funds, the Brazilian economy and the relationship with China, hegemony of the dollar and the relationship between market, state and institutions. Researcher at INCT-INEU.
